We're looking at wireless devices capable of working for at least 12 hours

Harman is preparing to sell a series of new, portable audio devices through Verizon Wireless. There are three of them, to be precise.

Called JBL Portable Speakers, the new audio devices are capable of streaming music and other audio from any smartphone, tablet or other device with wireless connectivity technology.

Granted, Harman doesn't say, specifically, that all of them are wireless. In fact, it only mentions that JBL Pulse is a wireless speaker with “high-fidelity, room filling JBL sound pulsed to series of pre-programmed light themes controlling brightness and color.”

The others must be wireless too, though, otherwise they wouldn't be distributed by Verizon Wireless.

The JBL Flip 2 is a portable speaker shaped like a cylinder. It's small and can be hand-carried easily.

Finally, the JBL Charge is also a speaker, but has an integrated charger that can restore the power of your smartphone. It can provide 12 hours of playback time or more if you don't use the charger though.

All Harman JBL Speakers use Bluetooth technology to establish connections with source devices (smartphones, tablets, PCs, laptops, portable media players, portable MP3 players, etc.).

Unfortunately, Harman and Verizon Wireless did not see fit to specify the prices of the newcomers in the press release.
