14 DAY TRIAL // Ava Sabrina London, a famous transgender model who also goes by the name Ava Masaniai and who’s getting now a lot of media attentions after going public with her fling with NFL star Hank Baskett, which took place when his wife of 5 years Kendra Wilkinson was 8 months pregnant with their second child, is eager to set the record straight.
The scandal broke last weekend, when Hank was photographed checking into a motel for the night, after a supposed fight with Kendra. The next day, several tabs were reporting – from the usual “unnamed sources” – that she’d found out he had cheated on her and with a transgender model no less.
The very next day, Ava London spoke to the media herself: she did a 3-part interview with The National Enquirer and went on the record about the fling, which, she said, mostly consisted of one meeting at her place, another meeting during which Hank gave her money, and several conversations over the phone.
She insisted that she never slept with Hank and that, on that first meeting, they got intimate by pleasuring each other. However, she added, after that, he was determined to embark on a full-fledged affair with her and even promised her he would support her financially even though, only a few days later, she would find out he wasn’t able to. Not without Kendra’s knowing, at least.
These said, you might wonder what London’s problem is, why she’s having her people threatening glossies with lawsuits. According to RumorFix, she wants the entire world to know that she and Hank never slept together, that the affair was never consummated this way.
InTouch Magazine ran a story to the contrary a couple of days ago, including quotes from London, in which she seemed to be saying they had had relations “several times.”
“InTouch claims they spoke to Ava exclusively and she never spoke to them. Ava has spoken on the record and passed a polygraph with National Enquirer, this is the only media outlet she has spoken to,” London’s rep, Gina Rodriguez, says for the e-zine.
Because InTouch is claiming differently and because they’re refusing to run a retraction, London will be suing them.
“This exposes the dirty tricks and pathetic tactics of a desperate magazine and magazine editor who lied and broke the law in an attempt to get an interview,” Rodriguez continues.
Apparently, it was a reporter from InTouch on whom London called the police earlier this week, once she realized he was trying to get a surveillance camera from her apartment building to check if Hank had really visited her on the dates she claims he did.
While all this is going on, both Kendra and Hank remain weirdly silent to all calls for comment. Kendra has never exactly been the type to keep mum on things that affect her personally, especially if they’re not true, so it could be that the reason they’re delaying comment is because they’re preparing a joint statement. What are the odds it will be a divorce one?
