14 DAY TRIAL // In this day and age, it doesn’t take a lot of effort to become internationally famous – but a hefty dose of good luck is of paramount importance. Just ask Sean Kory, a 29-year-old man from Santa Cruz, who was arrested over the Halloween weekend and is now the hottest “mugshot guy” in the US.
Jeremy Meeks, you have some competition in the “good looks behind bars” department. In fact, if we’re to go by some of the reactions online, Meeks can barely hold a candle to Kory.
Kory hates Fox News, so he started beating someone wearing a Fox News reporter costume
As you may very well see for yourself in the photos in the gallery below (the second one is a comparison with Meeks, just to be clear), Sean Kory is a handsome man. He has a well-defined jaw and piercing eyes, a full set of lips, and the attitude of a bad boy who isn’t intimated even by the fact that he’s standing in a holding cell after being arrested for doing the stupidest thing ever.
So no wonder the ladies are swooning over him on social media, which is the reason why we’re now sitting here, talking about him.
Kory may be handsome, but the reason people are noticing it is because he got arrested over the Halloween weekend in California, after attacking someone in a Fox News reporter costume during the annual parade.
Apparently, his dislike for the conservative TV station is so strong that it makes him lose his cool, so he yelled “I hate Fox News!” and attacked his unsuspecting victim, the police report reads.
He ripped the prop microphone from his victim’s hands and started rubbing it on his crotch, and then he “pummeled” the victim with an “aluminum tennis racket.” No word on where he got that from, but it seems that he didn’t do too much damage to his victim, who is said to have been “unhurt” in all this.
Kory tried to run when he saw the police, but he obviously didn’t make it too far.
The Internet fawns over new “hottie” criminal
All it took for Kory to become famous was to have the Santa Cruz Police Department publish his booking photo online, and the Internet took over from there. Countless women on Twitter rushed to profess their undying love for this newfound male crush, and some even promised him they would wait for him to get out to marry him.
Most agreed that Meeks, the “original” hot mugshot guy, whose booking photo went viral in June, when he was arrested for street terrorism, couldn’t hold a candle to Kory.
So, if Meeks didn’t get a modeling contract out of the buzz around his mugshot (because, you know, being in custody for this kind of crime usually means you’re not getting out anytime soon, so you can’t really honor contractual obligations), chances are Kory might get to reap the benefits from being the latest viral star.
At best, he might score a TV interview to talk about how he likes it now that he’s instantly recognizable when he walks down the street. If not, he can always find some consolation in all those messages of “I’ll be waiting, boo.”
