You will no longer need heapdhones to know where to go

A project on Dragon Innovation has appeared, one that could make it harder to get lost when traveling by bicycle.

GPS devices can be troublesome or impossible to use with a bike, because of weather hazards and the tendency of the screen to become a worthless piece of junk under direct sunlight.

So, in order to follow GPS directions, people usually need to hear the voice commands, which means headphones.

The new project simplifies things greatly though. Instead of sounds, it will just use LED lights to indicate the way to go.

In other words, Hammerhead will show riders to go right or left based on where the lit LED is.

That's not all though. Hammerhead will also give travel speed suggestions. It will indicate the start, end and goal speed for each moment in a particular riding segment, and how far off from old speeds they are.

Granted, it took a bit of fiddling to make Hammerhead shock and water resistant, and compatible with apps like Strava and MapMyRide, but it may just be worth it.

The clincher? You need to pledge at least $70 with Dragon Innovation to get one, and if the project takes off, the final product will probably cost more.
