The development team at 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft seem determined to make sure that the upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection will deliver the classic experience for all fans of the franchise, including the classic glitches that the community has uncovered over the year.

The information comes from a panel that has taken place during the San Diego Comic-Con, which featured executive producer Kiki Wolfkill, franchise development director Frank O'Connor, Scott Free Productions president David Zucker, and actors Mike Colter and Christina Chong.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is designed to offer all the core titles of the series on the new Xbox One home console and to deliver improved graphics quality for both the actual gameplay and the cutscenes.

But even if the visuals are updated, the developers at 343 Industries want to keep gameplay as close to the original as possible, which means that all glitches can be reproduced.

Frank O’Connor says that gamers will be able to get infinite ammo or to explore areas of the levels that seem impossible to access.

At the same time, 343 Industries will include text and other information in Halo: The Master Chief Collection in order to make sure that all players understand why the glitches are still present and how important they are to the franchise.

The cutscenes are re-designed to make the story clearer, and when gamers finish Halo 4, they will be able to watch all new footage that will offer more details about Halo 5: Guardians.

343 Industries also claims that the entire soundtrack of the series has been re-recorded with help from the Skywalker Orchestra in order to deliver a more immersive experience to fans.

Frank O’Connor has added that his team is creating a complex new system in order to track a player’s preferences when it comes to multiplayer, which will include more than 100 maps taken from the Halo titles.

The Master Chief Collection will track playstyles and will also introduce a voting screen to make sure that gamers never play on a map they do not like.

Microsoft has already said that both a modern and a classic set of modes will be offered.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be launched on the Xbox One on November 11 of this year.

The new Guardians video game is expected to arrive on the same platform at some point late in 2015.
