14 DAY TRIAL // Halo 5: Guardians is one of the most expected video games of 2015 and fans of the series can now take part in the multiplayer beta for the title, as long as they picked up the previously launched Halo: The Master Chief Collection package that arrived in November.
Gamers can join the action by going to the Extras menu of the game and then selecting the option for the Halo 5 MP Beta, which is set to run until January 19 and will include seven full maps and three types of modes for gamers to test out.
The full schedule for the coming 21 days is:
Week 1 - Slayer (AR starts)
Week 2 - Slayer (BR starts) and Breakout
Week 3 - Slayer (AR and BR starts), Breakout and Strongholds
Andy Dudynsky, the community manager at 343 Industries, who is part of the Halo 5: Guardians beta, adds in the official announcement, “Thank you for helping us create, test, and improve Halo 5: Guardians by participating in the Multiplayer Beta. Please send your feedback and report issues to our Halo 5: Guardians MP Support Section!”
The team is aiming to see how the fan community reacts to the changes it has made to the core mechanics of the shooter and has promised that it has the time to do more tweaks in the months before launch.

The new title from 343 Industries and Microsoft is designed to offer gamers both a complex and engaging single-player campaign and a solid set of multiplayer options, complete with Spartan customization and other surprises.
The two companies have not talked about the story so far, but rumors are saying that Agent Locke, who was introduced in the Halo Nightfall series, will play an important role and that gamers will have to wait before they meet Master Chief and are able to control the protagonist of the series.
When it comes to multiplayer, 343 Industries is introducing a number of changes, including a new sprint move and a Smart Scope, which will change the core gameplay of the franchise and have been criticized by some long-time fans.
