The beta period for Halo 5: Guardians might now be done, but the development team at 343 Industries is eager to talk about it some more, offering some info on how the community has performed and sharing the most interesting moments they have seen during the three-week testing phase.

The new Bulletin that the studio is offering is also talking about the Championship series for Halo: The Master Chief Collection and its future schedule.

Gamers will also have a chance to find out more info about the Strongholds game type for Halo 5: Guardians and the ideas that the team which created it sought to implement.

The highlights of the footage are the best clips from the beta period, which are clearly designed to show that even at this stage in its development the first-person shooter can deliver some impressive moments.

With the beta period for Halo 5: Guardians now ended, 343 Industries will seek to get more feedback from the players involved, who have already talked about it extensively on the official forums.

The data collected will also be used to try and improve gameplay in the coming months in order to make sure that the multiplayer title is the best it can be when it’s launched on the Xbox One later in the year.

Halo 5: Guardians is aiming to innovate while satisfying long-term fans

The new title from 343 Industries and Microsoft needs to walk the fine line between introducing enough new ideas in order to attract a younger and more modern audience and keeping the classic mechanics that have made Halo a long-time favorite.

The beta has shown new concepts, like Smart Scope and sprint, in action, with the latter heavily debated by players.

Some see it as a betrayal of everything the series stands for, while others believe it is the only way to compete with newcomers like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Titanfall.

Halo 5: Guardians will be launched at an undisclosed date in the fall of this year only on the Xbox One home console.

The two involved companies are also preparing a complex single-player story for it, which will focus on the adventures of Master Chief but will also introduce new characters, like the already revealed Agent Locke.
