14 DAY TRIAL // The 8-month-old pooch in the photo above is everybody's new favorite dog. The only bad news is that she only knows one human, Kim Dillenbeck from Alabama, US, and is extremely loyal to her.
According to Daily Mail, this pooch was born with several severe deformities. In fact, her anatomy is so quirky that people are having trouble deciding whether she looks more like a gorilla or a frog.
However, owner Kim Dillenback thinks that she much more resembles one other animal that folks are all too familiar with, and has even named her after it. Thus, this four-legged oddity now goes by the name Pig.
Because her body looks like it has been cut in two and because she does not have a neck, Pig has trouble performing tasks that other pooches have no problems with. For example, she has to turn her entire body to see what is behind her.
Besides, it often happens that she gets tired way faster than other dogs her age do, and every once in a while, she loses her balance while trying to run or play and falls flat on her face. Still, she seems to enjoy life just as much as the next pooch.
Owner Kim Dillenbeck says that, when she first took Pig to a veterinary clinic, doctors said that she should consider putting her to sleep. They argued that, given her deformities, she would surely have troubles getting around.
Luckily for Pig, the woman refused to do so, and instead welcomed the pooch into her life. Things turned out more than all right, and Pig now leads a fairly normal life. What's more, Kim Dillenbeck is quite convinced the poor creature does not even know she is not normal.
