China is full of affordable solutions for bringing technology, even though sometimes at low standards. Haier NG-N96 is another handset, packed with most of these performances, but at a low price which says it all.

The handset has been recently launched and it looks like only the Chinese market will be enjoying it in the future. Aside from the most evolved performances which can be found in regular mobile phones, there is also a special feature most popular in devices from this part of the world.

Haier NG-N96 has two SIM slots which makes it possible for the user to get rid of the problem of having to remove the phone's battery every time he wants to change the SIM card. Still, producers have not specified whether both cards can be used at the same time or at a turn.

When it comes to design, Haier NG-N96 scores few points, as it is neither elegant, nor smooth in design lines. The 2.4 inch display is actually a touchscreen, which has high chances in appealing to a large number of people. Such a display is a must for high-end handsets nowadays in order to meet both trend and functional purposes. Moreover, the 260k screen is capable of a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. This is rather low, when considering its sizes and could use some upgrading.

The mobile phone also has a 1.3 megapixel camera included, but that is not going to impress anyone. Moreover, it is also capable of USB connectivity, in order to most efficiently transfer data from PC to phone. No words on the internal memory that it comes with, as well as on the maximum capacity that the microSD card slot can support.

Haier NG-N96 has been presented during the SINOCES (China International Consumer Electronics Show) 2007 in Qingdao. The date when this mobile phone will be available for purchase or a price it will come at have not been revealed.
