In the game, you play the role of a computer hacker in an attempt to change the future of mankind, as we are on the verge of losing everything to computers.

According to exosyphen, the game's plot goes a bit like this:

When the number of computers in existence and their processing capacity exceeds that of all mankind, a point of technological singularity is encountered. A massive economic and systematic crisis hits the entire world. Nobody knows the exact cause, and all solutions to fix it are failing. We are about to lose our position as a dominant species on the planet, in favor of something we have created... computers.

The official report announcing Hacker Evolution: Untold reveals that the concept behind this unique title was to create a game that challenges the gamers' intelligence, attention and focus, in order to deliver a captivating experience. As Brian Spencer, a young computer programmer, players will be faced with intricate puzzles, while having to examine code and bits of information, to achieve objectives. Not surprisingly, Brian Spencer works for a company he started with a couple of friends, which has developed the technology from where it all started, according to the plot. Eventually, you are framed for a crime. At this point, you need to start using all your hacking skills and prevent computers from becoming the next dominant species.

Main features include:
