14 DAY TRIAL // The Twitter account of Shirley Lynn Phelps-Roper – a spokesperson of the controversial Westboro Baptist Church – has been hacked. The hacker claims to be part of the new UGNazi collective.
After overtaking the account, the hacker – who took the name of former UGNazi mastermind Cosmo – started retweeting tens of tweets in which users condemned the ways of the Westboro Baptist Church.
Earlier today we learned that Anonymous hacktivists launched an operation against the Westboro Baptist Church, after the organization decided to picket the funerals of the ones killed in the Newtown shooting.
As a result, Anonymous not only disrupted several of their websites by launching DDOS attacks against them, but they’ve also leaked the personal details of several members.
At the time of writing, Shirley Lynn Phelps-Roper’s Twitter account appeared to still be controlled by the hacker.
