AKILL, the hacker who was arrested a few days ago by the FBI and the Kiwi authorities, has mild autism, an affection that is best described by isolation and advanced capabilities in a certain domain. According to The New Zealand Herald, Owen Walker, the 18-year-old boy arrested by the police, is now living with relatives somewhere near Auckland. However, the exact location was not disclosed as there has been an incredible pressure over the boy and his family, Shell Moxham-Whyte, the mother of the hacker, told The New Zealand Herald.

"Mrs Moxham-Whyte said he and the family had come under intense pressure since it was revealed on Saturday that he was the cyber figure Akill whom the FBI considered "the ringleader of an international bot-net coding group", the source mentioned above wrote.

Moreover, the hacker's mum said that she had no idea that her boy launched such dangerous attacks, even if she knew he was pretty attracted by computers. "Mrs Moxham-Whyte said her son was an intelligent boy who had loved computers from a young age", the publication continued.

The 18-year-old boy worked as a programmer at Trio Software Development, a job that he lost after it was confirmed that he's involved in the case.

"Friends and employers have praised Walker as a brilliant computer programmer and the police national electronic crime laboratory manager, Maarten Kleintjes, said he was "very, very bright in terms of his ability to be able to produce that sort of code", The New Zealand Herald added.

In case you didn't read the news, AKILL, a Kiwi hacker suspected for attacks over 1 million computers, was arrested by the FBI and the New Zealand authorities. He was released on police bail, but his computers were seized by the investigators, in order to find out if he had any connection with the dangerous botnet attacking the systems.
