Since HTPCs are valued for their small form factors, Impactics decided it was time to release a new chassis fit for them, and even went as far as to implement support for one of its special cooling technologies, which are both silent and effective.

Home-Theater Personal Computers have become quite well known in the IT industry and even have their very own, and quite sizable, market segment.

As such, hardware makers have been dedicating part of their research and development efforts to the creation of components small enough to fit the needs of such systems.

Unfortunately, when it comes to enjoying multimedia files, noise can quickly ruin the immersion, and it is a well known fact that fans are a main source of such disruption.

Knowing this, Impactics went ahead and put together the C3LH-B, a mini-ITX enclosure that uses the K.I.S.S.S. Cooling technology.

Essentially, this is a cooling system that is absolutely passive, meaning that it lacks any sort of fans when it comes to eliminating the heat created by the CPU.

For those interested in numbers, the chassis measures 262 x 80 x 237 mm, although the height can go to 88 mm with the addition of special feet.

Impactics put in one internal 2.5-inch holder, which can house either a hard disk drive (HDD) or a solid state drive (SSD).

There are also aluminum fins on both sides of the case, plus a slim 5.25-inch drive bay, for the insertion of an optical drive. All in all, the C3LH-B weighs 2.44 kg .

The version of this casing equipped with the aforementioned K.I.S.S.S. passive cooling solutions will sell for around 150 Euro, considering that the cooling systems themselves are sold separately.

Basically, the chassis itself sells for 99.90 Euro, while the K.I.S.S.S. are priced starting at 49.90.
