One of the devices that Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is expected to bring to the market in the near future is codenamed HTC Ville.

The handset was spotted on the web several months ago for the first time, and is expected to make an official appearance at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week as part of the vendor’s new “One” series.

We have already had the chance to look at test photos coming from this device, which supposedly confirmed its existence.

Today, more proof that it will soon hit the market has emerged, courtesy of Benchmarking results spotted over at NenaMark.

In addition to bring more proof that the handset is real, the NenaMark (version 2) benchmark results also show that it will be capable of offering great performance capabilities.

It managed to score an impressive 60.60fps, which is a great result when compared to what other rival devices have to offer at the moment.

The specifications list of this device has not been confirmed as of yet, but previous leaks suggested that it should arrive on shelves with a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 chip inside, as well as with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD touchscreen display on the front.

The NenaMark website also shows that the handset will pack a Qualcomm Adreno 225 GPU inside, and that it is currently running under Google’s Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Moreover, it should include an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording. The mobile phone is powered by a 1650mAh battery.

The new mobile phone was previously rumored to be slated for an official launch at the MWC 2012, and we can only keep our fingers crossed for the time being, since the leading mobile phone maker hasn’t yet officially confirmed such plans. Keep an eye on this space for more on the matter.
