Sadly, the T-Mobile HTC One’s UI is still in “development”

It only took HTC about one week to bring the Sense 6.0 update status for the One M7 and One Max from “integration” to “certification,” which means that we should expect it to roll out sometime in early May, if everything goes according to plan.

The Taiwanese company has promised that it will offer an upgrade to HTC Sense 6.0 UI to those who own the One M7, One max or One mini sometime in May.

If we are to take into consideration how fast HTC burned through the various stages of development and release, it appears that the handset maker will offer the promised upgrade on time for most devices included on the compatibility list.

One exception might be the HTC One M7 for T-Mobile, as development for the Sense 6.0 update for this particular model is clearly behind schedule.

We reported about a week ago that the status of Sense 6.0 update for HTC One M7 was set to “certification” at all US-based carriers with one exception, the T-Mobile version, which was still in the “development” stage.

Today, HTC switched the status of the Sense 6.0 update to “certification,” but the T-Mobile HTC One M7 update is still confirmed to be in “development.”

This means that there are some issues with the Sense 6.0 update for T-Mobile HTC One M7 that prevents the company’s engineers from advancing with the development. We will keep an eye out for any additional details regarding this particular update, so stay tuned.

There is more bad news, but this time for owners of AT&T HTC One mini. According to the HTC software updates list, the Sense 6.0 update for the AT&T HTC One mini is still in “integration” stage, the same as one week ago.

This might not be as bad as the T-Mobile HTC One M7 update, but still, it appears that there are some issues with the Sense 6.0 UI update for the One mini as well.

The rest of the updates are now in “certification” stage, so the next step would mean that HTC would start seeding Sense 6.0 UI to One M7 and One max.

The following carriers will be among the first to deliver the highly anticipated update: AT&T (HTC One M7), Sprint (HTC One M7 and One max), Verizon (HTC One M7 and One max). The unlocked HTC One M& and the Developer Edition version will also be among the first to receive the Sense 6.0 UI update.
