14 DAY TRIAL // Both HTC Sensation and Wildfire S Android-based smartphones will soon make their way in New Zealand via Telecom carrier.
It appears that the phones will be available exclusively on the Telecom New Zealand network in early July.
While the HTC Wildfire S will be available for a suggested retail price of $599 from 1 July 2011, the Sensation will soon follow for $1099.
According to the carrier, customers who pre-register now for any of the two HTC Android smartphones will receive $100 off the suggested retail price.
“The HTC Sensation and HTC Wildfire S are our first Android devices to be launched in partnership with Telecom New Zealand,” said Ben Hodgson, Country Manager, HTC Australia and New Zealand.
As a reminder, the Sensation will be delivered with a large 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen display with high-resolution true 16:9 widescreen viewing.
Equipped with a powerful 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the HTC Sensation provides users with a superior multimedia experience and all-round fast performance.
In addition, the Sensation boasts an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash and it packs 1GB of internal memory.

HTC Wildfire S builds on the popularity of its Wildfire predecessor and offers users a powerful device in a compact form factor.
The smartphone comes with a 3.2-inches multi-touch screen and a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash.
Using an easy Facebook share experience and Friend Stream, the Wildfire S enables people to build and establish connections and friendships.
Both phones run Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform with HTC Sense UI and feature microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
