Android fans waiting for the Black Friday deals to spend money on their favorite smartphones will be happy to find that Amazon is now offering two hot deals ahead of Thanksgiving day.

Officially introduced last month, the Motorola DROID RAZR is now available at Amazon Wireless for only $0.01 with a new two-year agreement. Moreover, the HTC Rezound is available for the same price and requires a two-year contract as well.

In addition, Amazon is also offering a $100 gift card to all customers who buy a smartphone that features the hotspot capability and activate it at time of purchase.

Just by looking at the phones' specs sheet, one can tell that the HTC Rezound is slightly more powerful than the Motorola DROID RAZR.

Although both superphones are delivered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, HTC and Motorola confirmed that Rezound and RAZR handsets will receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in early 2012.

Hardware-wise, the DROID RAZR is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual core TI OMAP 4430 CPU, which is complemented by a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit, while the Rezound features a slightly more powerful 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM 8660 Snapdragon processor and an Adreno 220 GPU.

Both phones come with 16 GB of onboard memory, 1 GB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 16GB memory card included).

Furthermore, the DROID RAZR sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution, while the Rezound has a similar size Super LCD touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

On the back, each phone boasts an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash (dual LED flash for Rezound) and full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities, while on the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calls.
