The smartphones offers fast connectivity on the carrier's network

HTC Raider, one of the latest Android-based mobile phones that HTC brought to the market with support for 4G LTE networks around the world, is now available for purchase in Canada via wireless carrier Bell as the HTC Raider 4G LTE.

The mobile phone was just put up for sale on the wireless carrier's website with a price tag of $149.95 (110 Euros) on a three-year contract, but users can also acquire it on shorter terms.

If purchased contract free, the smartphone goes of as much as $599.95 (438 Euros).

The new mobile phone comes with highly appealing features, including a large touchscreen display and a fast dual-core application processor.

“The HTC Raider 4G LTE is Canada's first LTE superphone. It can reach blazing fast speeds of up to 75 Mbps - perfect for streaming videos and Bell Mobile TV on the 4.5" screen,” the wireless carrier notes.

The fast speeds that HTC Raider 4G LTE can deliver to users are matched only by the enhanced performance capabilities that its 1.2 GHz dual-core application processor has to offer.

The specs list of this devices includes 1 GB of RAM to enable multitasking and increased efficiency, a large 4.5" qHD screen for great viewing of photos and videos while on the go, and great connectivity capabilities, which include WiFi and Bluetooth as well, in addition to LTE and 3G.

The handset also includes an 8 megapixel camera on the back, with HD video recording capabilities, as well as a 1.3 camera on the front, for video calling. It sports up to 13 GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for cards of up to 32GB.

The new HTC Raider 4G LTE runs under Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the HTC Sense UI 3.0 on top, and offers access to a wide range of applications and games available for download via the Android Market.
