HTC Radar is the second Windows phone Mango smartphone that the Taiwanese handset vendor unveiled to the world on Thursday, and it is expected to arrive on shelves at a price tag far lower than the one HTC TITAN will sport.

However, this does not mean that the device will not come with appealing features for users to benefit from.

According to HTC, the new Radar is one of the devices that will offer users the possibility to easily stay in touch with their friends and family over social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter.

But there's more to it, as HTC will bring the handset to shelves with various multimedia capabilities too, as well as with support for productivity functions, and with appealing web browsing features as well.

The new handset will offer users the possibility to enjoy Facebook chat, text, and Windows Live Messenger, as well as all contacts and social networks into a single place, through the People Hub.

“The HTC Radar is the intuitive phone that keeps it all on your radar and lets you get real-time close…with everything. Crafted from a single piece of metal, it offers a premium design,” the mobile phone maker notes on its website.

“The HTC Radar is that friend who will always be there for you. It’ll make the right impression on you and everyone around you.”

The same as TITAN, the new HTC Radar will arrive on the market with the HTC Watch application and service loaded on it, enabling users to easily access videos, TV shows and more while on the go.

It comes with video calling features as well, powered by the front-facing camera that HTC placed on it, as well as with Internet Sharing capabilities, and more.

With Radar, users will be able to shoot great videos or take high-resolution photos courtesy of the 5-megapixel camera with F2.2 lens and LED Flash that was placed on its back.

Of course, the fast 1GHz processor will provide increased performance levels, too, not to mention that users will also be able to enjoy 8GB of internal memory with this mobile phone.

Overall, the new handset will be able to offer a great experience to all users, at a price tag that will bring the Windows Phone to more market segments.
