Next week, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation should make official its largest smartphone in the One series, namely the HTC One max, and the company has already started teasing it.

The handset vendor has published on its official blog an infographinc showing the “greatest trios in history,” which points at the upcoming unveiling.

HTC has already launched two devices in the “One” series, namely the HTC One with a 4.7-inch screen and the HTC One mini with a 4.3-inch display, and it should unveil the larger HTC One max on October 15, so as to complete the trio, as AllThingsD reports.

“Eight-minute abs, one-man wolfpack, Dynamic Duo; culture is full of all sorts of numerical associations, and Hey, Three’s Cool, too. With that in mind we’ve identified great trios throughout history that made a mark,” the company notes on its blog.

HTC One max is expected to become official with a 5.9-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with a quad-core Snapdragon processor packed inside.

Furthermore, the mobile phone is rumored to feature 2GB of RAM, different options for internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

On the back, HTC One max should feature an UltraPixel camera with full HD video recording capabilities, complemented by a front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The specs list of this device is also said to include a 3200mAh battery, along with the usual set of connectivity capabilities and sensors. It should also feature a fingerprint sensor on the back, rumor has it.

HTC is expected to launch the upcoming large smartphone with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, though it would update it to Android 4.4 KitKat soon after.

Unfortunately, no official confirmation on the handset’s specs has emerged until now, and we’ll have to wait for the launch event to kick off to learn more on it. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
