Another mid-entry Android smartphone has just been spotted in the wild along with its specs, the HTC Pico.

Although the phone's moniker might suggest that the device features a pico projector, also known as mobile projector, the HTC Pico's specs sheet does not reveal anything like it.

According to the guys over at XDA.cn, the smartphone's technical specifications strongly resembles those of the popular HTC Wildfire S.

However, by the look of it the HTC Pico will have limited availability, as the device only supports 900/2100MHz 3G bands, which means that is highly unlikely to be released in North America.

On the other hand, Europe and Asia will probably be blessed with this mid-entry Android smartphone by the end of the year.

The leaked specs sheet confirms that the HTC Pico will be equipped with a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor.

In addition, the smartphone will be delivered with Android Gingerbread on board, although this is not certain as the phone is tagged with the “to be determined” (TBD) logo.

It is also worth mentioning that the Pico will be bundled with HTC Sense Zero and Control over Data Usage app.

The phone will pack 512 MB of ROM, 384 MB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card included).

The 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back of the phone features autofocus and LED flash, face detection capabilities, wide screen photo capture, as well as video recording capabilities.

HTC Pico has a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display with 262k colors support and 320 x 480 pixels resolution.

Other highlights of the HTC Pico include: a 1230mAh Li-Ion battery, G-Sensor, ambient light sensor, digital compass, HSDPA (7.2Mbps) and HSUPA (2Mbps) support, proximity sensor, GPS with A-GPS support, 3.5mm audio jack and dedicated camera button.
