Earlier today, we learned that the Blue flavor of the HTC One would be launched in the United States on September 15 via Best Buy, but it seems that UK users will also receive access to the handset.

HTC has officially announced the upcoming availability of the device in the country via The Carphone Warehouse, although it did not provide a specific release date for it.

However, the mobile phone can already be seen listed on the retailer’s online portal so that interested users could register for updates on its arrival.

On said page, the phone is listed with a September availability, which makes us believe that it could land as soon as this Sunday, the same as in the United States.

However, this is only supposition from our part, and things might turn out differently in the end.

Unfortunately, no specific info on the pricing of the new device flavor has been provided as of now, though we expect it to cost the same as the other versions already launched in the UK (namely £489.95/$770/€580 SIM-free).

“The new HTC One in Vivid Blue packs the blistering performance and premium features that have garnered global acclaim since its launch earlier this year, into a body that makes a striking yet sophisticated statement,” HTC notes on its website.

The Blue version of HTC One maintains the same features and capabilities as the original model, despite the change in color.

It sports a 4.7-inch 1080p display, a 1.7GHz quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor inside, and 2GB of RAM.

HTC One also includes 32GB of internal memory, support for 4G LTE networks, and Google’s Android Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.

Furthermore, the handset lands on shelves with a 4MP UltraPixel camera on the back and front camera for making video calls. The phone is powered by a 2300mAh battery.
