HTC already stated officially that it would launch the One X, One S and One V smartphone in Singapore on March 30, and in the first week of April in India.

Today, HTC India confirmed that the One X would be coming to the Indian market this April. The information is posted on its Facebook page, though no detail on availability and price tag has been unveiled.

Rumor has it that HTC One X will be launched in early April, probably on the 5th. The price will range between Rs 32,000 (630 USD and 470 EUR) and (685 USD or 515 EUR) outright.

Unveiled back in February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, along with HTC One S and One V, the One X is powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with HTC Sense 4.0 UI.

For the time being, no info on the HTC One S and One V release in India has emerged, but they will probably be available soon after the One X’s launch.

The One X is HTC’s first quad-core smartphone and boasts an 8-megapixel rear camera with ImageSense technology, autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

The insides of the phone are pretty impressive as the One X packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor at its heart, along with an ULP GeForc graphics processing unit, 1GB of RAM and 32GB onboard memory.

The handset lacks a microSD card slot for memory expansion, but the amount of storage seems to be enough for the average user. There’s also a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

Another highlight of the HTC One X is the vibrant 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass coating.
