Today, wireless carrier AT&T officially announced the upcoming availability of HTC One on its network starting with April 19, with a price tag of $199.99 attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

The company will be offering the 32GB flavor of the device at this price tag, while also launching the 64GB variant of the device at $299.99 on contract.

Additionally, AT&T unveiled that users interested in grabbing the device when it becomes available for purchase will be able to reserve it starting with April 4.

The handset will be put up for pre-orders through the company’s website starting with 1:00 p.m. CT on April 4, with a free HTC Media Link HD wireless HDMI adaptor (of $90 value) included in the package.

HTC One arrives with a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, an UltraPixel camera, and support for the carrier’s 4G LTE network.

Additionally, it will sport a variety of features powered by HTC’s Sense 5.0 user interface, as well as a series of applications exclusive to AT&T.

Among them, there is the AT&T DriveMode app, aimed at enabling users to avoid engaging into texting while driving, as it can be set to automatically send a reply to incoming messages as soon as the vehicle starts moving at 25 mph or above.

Other features of the new device include:

- HTC Zoe mode on the HTC One lets you grab the entire moment and bring it to life in three-second snippets. Special moments can be captured in HTC Zoe highlights, and displayed in a living gallery that you can set to music and special effects. AT&T Locker helps you hold onto those memories no matter where you are. You can automatically store photos, videos and documents in the cloud, so you can access and share from your smartphone or computer.

- HTC BoomSound provides rich, clear sound with minimal distortion, as well as the authentic sound experience you expect from built-in Beats by Dr. Dre Audio. HTC One features dual front-facing speakers and a built-in amplifier to bring music, movies and games alive. Since the speakers are on the front of the device, you no longer have to worry about muffled sound when setting your phone down.

- HTC Sense TV lets you use your HTC One as an interactive TV guide and remote control. It can be set up in a few simple steps and gives you the ability to access electronic program guides and control a receiver and home theatre right from your phone’s screen.

On top of these, there’s the HTC BlinkFeed feature that Sense 5.0 was packed with, which delivers customized content and real-time updates straight to the smartphone’s home screen, and which can be set to aggregate content from a variety of media sources.
