Customers in the United States, and HTC fans especially, were only able to purchase the company's One M9 flagship smartphone until recently. But not anymore, since the Taiwanese company brought its One M9+ and One E9+ monsters in the country as well.

The two smartphones are now more or less official in the United States, but both are only available through Amazon. Also, they are priced quite differently, so you can definitely pick one or the other depending on your budget.

For example, HTC One M9+ can be purchased for no less than $799 (€709), while the HTC One E9+ is much cheaper at $499 (€442) outright.

The One M9+ is available in both gunmetal grey and silver gold, whereas the One E9+ can be had in either grey or rose white color options.

Both smartphones were introduced in China a few months ago, but HTC released them in various countries soon after. Beginning today, customers in the United States will be able to get them too.

The first HTC phones to pack Quad HD displays

Keep in mind that the One M9+ and One E9+ are HTC's first smartphones to boast Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) displays. Moreover, they are both shipping with the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. Apart from that, they come with pretty different specs.

The One M9+ sports a 5.2-inch display, while the One E9+ boasts a larger 5.5-inch screen. The latter also offers dual-SIM support.

On the other hand, HTC One M9+ is equipped with a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T processor, a PowerVR G6200 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.

The HTC One E9+ is powered by a slightly lower 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795M processor, a PowerVR G6200 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.

Both feature microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB) and feature 20-megapixel cameras on the back. However, the One M9+ packs an additional 2-megapixel camera on the front, which goes along with the 20MP one.

Last but not least, the One M9+ is powered by a non-removable 2,840 mAh battery, while the One E9+ drains energy from a 2,800 mAh battery.
