The limited edition HTC One M9 INK smartphone inspired by body art has just been officially launched by the Taiwanese company.

Unfortunately, HTC did not share any info on the phone's pricing options and availability, so there's no telling when it will hit shelves and for how much.

Some of you might remember that HTC talked about the One M9 INK for the first time back in April, though not many details were available at that time.

Today, HTC has confirmed that it has teamed up with international super model and fashion icon Jourdan Dunn and “ink-er” Cally-Jo Pothecary to engrave a limited number of One M9 units with body art-style design.

We have yet to learn when it will go on sale and for how much

If you're wondering how Cally-Jo came up with the body-art design that's been engraved on the back of the HTC One M9, here is her answer:

“I try to stay open-minded and take inspiration from everything around me. I regularly visit art galleries and exhibitions to get fresh new ideas and take pictures on my HTC of images that I connect with. I love to travel, it’s a huge passion of mine and I’m always inspired visiting new countries.”

The body-art design features an open hand and eye symbols, as well as some natural leaf elements and symbols around the main visual.

The ambassador of this campaign, Jourdan Dunn, says her favorite feature of the HTC One M9 is the design. According to her, the One M9 is “a new fashion accessory to complement” her style.

That's about all we know about the HTC One M9 INK for now, since the Taiwanese company did not offer any other details on the smartphone.

Those who would like to own one will have to wait a while longer until HTC reveals when and where it will be available, as well as pricing options.
