It’s unclear whether or not it will be exclusive to some carriers/retailers

HTC One M8 is one of the better-looking Android smartphones available on the market. In fact, the flagship device is likely to be awarded lots of prizes for its design, something that shouldn’t surprise anyone, given its predecessor’s history.

The One M7 was the most awarded smartphone last year, though it has sold less than the Taiwanese company expected. The new One M8 was launched back in March in three flavors: Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold.

However, some color options were not available in all countries and arrived later on or are still about to make their debut. Moreover, the Amber Gold version was exclusive to some carriers and retailers in various countries and became widely available a few weeks later.

Well, if the HTC One M8 is the smartphone you wanted, but you couldn’t get it because you didn’t like any of the colors available, then fret not as the handset maker is readying another color option for its high-end handset.

This will either make you laugh or get you very interested, but you will definitely not remain indifferent if you are a fan of the brand. It appears that HTC will launch a pink variant of the One M8.

The first press render of the unusual device has been published by @evleaks for everyone to see and be mesmerized. Samsung is well known for bringing pink devices to various markets, but they are usually made of plastic.

Seeing a pink smartphone made of aluminum is pretty rare indeed. For the time being, it’s unclear when exactly the pink HTC One M8 will be launched on the market, but we suspect that more details will emerge in the coming days.

The price of the pink HTC One M8 is likely to be similar to the other three variants and the same goes for software and hardware configuration. This means that those who would purchase such a device will get a powerful smartphone equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz.

The One M8 is also packed with a hyper-vibrant 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating for extra protection.

The smartphone is expected to ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box, along with HTC Sense 5 UI on top.

According to the latest hearsay, HTC plans to launch additional color options for the One M8, including Blue and Red, which will be released this year.
