As expected, HTC One (M8) for Windows will soon make its debut at AT&T. Currently, the smartphone is exclusively available in the United States through Verizon Wireless, but the exclusivity time will end later this week.

In fact, according to AT&T, the Windows Phone handset will be available for purchase beginning November 7 for as low as $200 (€160) on two-year contracts. Customers who prefer to pay the outright price will be able to get the HTC One (M8) for Windows for no less than $700 (€560).

There’s also the option of getting the smartphone for $0 down on an AT&T Next plan including $27.92 (€22.36) with Next 18 or $33.60 (€26.87) a month with Next 12.

HTC One M8 for Windows will ship with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 onboard, but it will receive other major OS updates in the coming months, given its status of high-end smartphone.

This is one of the best-looking smartphones available on the market, which makes it a worthy competitor for Nokia Lumia handsets, that seem to rule the Windows Phone market.

Just like the Android version of the HTC One M8, the Windows Phone variant comes with a state-of-the-art 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and 441ppi (pixel per inch).

On the inside, the smartphone is armed with a powerful-enough 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit, and 2GB of RAM.

It comes with 32GB on-board storage and microSD card slot

Unlike previous Windows Phone handsets, the One (M8) does feature a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB), in addition to the 32GB of internal memory packed by default.

That should be enough even for the heavy users, but if you still require storage, you will also get around 15GB of free cloud space via Microsoft’s OneDrive service.

The only downside would be the fact that the smartphone comes with the same dual 4-UltraPixel main camera, which isn’t quite on par with those of other flagship handsets available on the market.

However, in the front, the One (M8) sports a 5-megapixel camera that can capture full HD (1080p) video, which is also perfect for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity-wise, the flagship handset provides a variety of options, including LTE, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, NFC (Near Field Communication) and GPS.
