HTC One M8, the latest flagship Android-based smartphone from Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation, has arrived on shelves in China in a new color version, namely Glamour Red.

The new handset iteration has been officially confirmed for Verizon Wireless not long ago, but it seems that more users out there can now grab it, in additional markets.

In China, the HTC One M8 Glamour Red is starting to hit stores with a price tag of $644 (€475) attached to it, as GSMDome has found out.

Users in China interested in getting the mobile phone will find it available on this page on JD.com’s website.

What users will immediately observe when heading to the retailer is the fact that the smartphone’s new color flavor is called Ruby Rose. However, it is the very same Glamour Red variant that landed on shelves at Verizon.

In fact, when looking at the hardware specs of this model, you will immediately see that it is, in fact, the very same smartphone that HTC made official in late March. The only thing that differs is the outer color (the phone was initially announced in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver, and Amber Gold).

For those out of the loop, we should note that HTC One M8 was launched with a 5-Inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution.

The smartphone is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory. Moreover, it features a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage space.

On the back, HTC One M8 packs a dual 4MP UltraPixel camera setup, which is capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, and which is paired with a 5-megapixel front camera for video calling and for taking great selfies while on the go.

The mobile phone also arrives on shelves with the usual set of connectivity capabilities inside, including 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, as well as with a built-in GPS receiver for navigation purposes.

HTC One M8 runs under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, while also featuring HTC’s own Sense 6.0 user interface loaded on top, with exclusive apps and features inside, including HTC BlinkFeed, which brings home screen updates for news, sports, social networks.

Those of you living in China and interested in the purchase of the Glamour Red (Ruby Rose) version of HTC One M8 should head over to the aforementioned page on JD to learn more on the available offer on it.
