Starting today, mobile phone users in Canada can purchase the HTC One Android-based flagship device from various wireless carriers in the country, including Bell, TELUS, and Rogers.

All three have already confirmed the availability of the device, and also listed it on their websites, but it seems that other operators too plan on launching the mobile phone, as MobileSyrup notes.

Canadians interested in the purchase of this smartphone will find it available on this page at Bell, featuring a price tag of $149.95 CAD ($146 USD / 112 EUR) next to it, if purchased with a three-year contract agreement. Those who would like to grab it contract-free will have to pay $649.95 CAD ($634 USD / 485 EUR) for it.

At TELUS, HTC One is listed on this webpage, with a price tag of $149 next to it, while priced at $650 contract-free. Rogers also listed the smartphone on its online store, at $149.99 on a three-year contract.

In addition to being made available through these retailers’ online shops, the smartphone also went up for purchase through their brick and mortar stores in Canada, and those who would like to grab it this way should head to the nearest location for that.

Made official in February before the Mobile World Congress kicked off, HTC One packs a 4.7-inch full HD screen, a 1.7GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, NFC, LTE, a 4MP UltraPixel photo snapper on the back, and 2MP camera on the front.

It runs under Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and comes with various features and capabilities designed by HTC specifically for it, including Blinkfeed, Zoe, and more.

HTC has had a rather hard time bringing the smartphone to the market in late March as it had initially planned, but it seems that things have finally been solved, as the device was launched in the United States as well today, where major retailers have already confirmed its availability.
