14 DAY TRIAL // Mobile phone carrier Vodafone Australia has just announced via a blog post that the HTC Legend devices on their airwaves would soon taste an over-the-air update to the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system flavor. According to the wireless carrier, those who own an HTC Legend device on its network should benefit from a wide range of enhancements as soon as this new OS flavor becomes available for them.
Some of the main improvements they would enjoy include:
Portable Hotspot Turn your handset into a Wi-Fi hotspot for devices such as pc’s, laptops, and even other mobile phones!
Improved Security & email Remote wipe for Exchange administrators allowing for handsets email accounts to be wiped if lost and Global Address Lists look-up so you no longer need to store all your email contacts on you handset
