aiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation should have its HTC Desire HD smartphone launched on more markets around the world starting with tomorrow, the company announced via its Facebook page.

The leading mobile phone maker did not unveil specific info on the handset's release in Australia, though it did confirm event.

“HTC is looking forward to the launch event of the HTC Desire HD tomorrow!! More details and pics will follow,” the company announced.

However, a recent article on Android Australia suggests that we should see the handset launched on Vodafone's airwaves.

Moreover, the news site suggests that HTC Desire HD would land at the wireless carrier on its $59 per month cap plan.

The said monthly plan offers $650 cap credit, 2GB of data, and unlimited Vodafone-to-Vodafone (inc. Three) calls.

Unfortunately, there are no specific details available on the exact date when Desire HD would be put on sale at the carrier, though it shouldn't be too long before that happens.

All in all, tomorrow's launch even should clear things up, as HTC and Vodafone would most probably unveil a specific release date for the Android device, as well as exact info on its pricing.

The HTC Desire HD is, undoubtedly, one of the nicest mobile phones pushed to the market with Google's Android operating system on board.

Powered by the 2.2 version of the platform (Froyo), the handset includes an impressive 4.3-inch touchscreen display, as well as a fast 1GHz application processor.

The handset also comes with an 8-megapixel photo snapper with HD video recording capabilities on board, as well as with support for enough memory to make any user happy.

Announced officially last month, the handset was initially expected to hit shelves before mid-October, but HTC had to delay it due to the failing of some Google testing.

However, starting with last week, the Desire HD arrived on shelves in various markets around the world, and it appears that it should land in Australia too in the near future.
