14 DAY TRIAL // It appears that both HTC's ChaCha and Salsa smartphones continue to spread their Facebook love in more parts of the world.
HTC Australia and Vodafone have just announced that the handset will be available in the country starting July 6.
Potential customers will be able to purchase either of the two Facebook phones for $0 upfront on the $29 a month cap over 24 months or $0 upfront on the $45 a month “Infinite” plan over 24 months.
In addition, HTC ChaCha will be available as a prepaid offer at $299 through Vodafone and Dealer Stores (unlocking fee applies).

These two new devices bring customers a refreshingly easy user experience and a more immediate way to engage with Facebook through a mobile device,” said Ben Hodgson, country manager, HTC Australia and New Zealand.
HTC ChaCha and Salsa run Google's latest version of Android Gingerbread 2.3 and use the latest iteration of HTC Sense to integrate Facebook throughout the HTC Sense experience.
The main attraction of the phones is the special Facebook Share Button that allows users to post just about anything on their Facebook account with only one click.

Furthermore, when users make phone calls, the dialer screen displays their friends’ latest status and photos, and even tells them if their birthday is approaching.
The same updates are also displayed when they receive a call from a Facebook friend.
When it comes to technical specs, both phones are similar as they feature: an 800 MHz processor, a 5- megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, VGA front-facing camera and microSD memory card (up to 32GB).
