The two “Facebook phones” introduced by HTC at the 2011 Mobile World Congress last week, the HTC ChaCha and Salsa, will be available in the UK this year in June.

As HTC officials explained, these are the real Facebook phones, as they were manufactured in close collaboration with the company behind the most popular social network service, Facebook.

Both phones feature a special Facebook button that pulses when the content displayed on the screen can be posted on the user's Facebook account.

The personalized button is very useful as it reduces the number of actions a user has to take to login to his Facebook account and post updates. Whenever a picture is taken, the button flashes and, if the user wants to post the picture onto his Facebook account, he only needs to push the key.

Even though both devices target fans of the social network service, they could also make a nice addition for those looking for a cheap Android 2.4 Gingerbread device.

HTC ChaCha and Salsa offer both of the worlds, as the former comes with a traditional QWERTY keyboard, while the latter features a large 3.4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen.

Rumors say that HTC ChaCha will be carried by Vodafone UK, Orange and Three, but recently both devices have been put up for pre-orders by online retailer Expansys UK.

The expected release date is June 17th, but no further details about prices have been posted on the aforementioned web shop.

However, things might get rough for HTC pretty soon, as the company has been sued by ChaCha Search, Inc over trademark infringement. The company claims ownership to the 'ChaCha' trademark in the United States and Europe.

Apparently, the lawsuit was filed last week on Tuesday, the same day the smartphone was officially introduced by HTC at the MWC, in Barcelona.
