T-Mobile UK to have it in late March

One of the mobile phones that leaked into the wild at the end of last year was HTC Bravo, an Android-based mobile phone from Taiwan-based HTC Corporation, which was expected to make an appearance on the airwaves of Verizon Wireless in the US as Passion, and was said to arrive in Europe a little later as Bravo. For the time being, nothing official was unveiled on its release, yet one can now enjoy a new series of photos with the device, as well as new details on its specifications list, and some info on the possible launch date on the old continent.

The HTC Bravo is said to be getting ready for an appearance on T-Mobile UK's airwaves in a couple of months, as Omio states that it should arrive in late March for free on the carrier's £35 per month plan. Moreover, it seems that this will not be the only Android-based device T-Mobile UK plans on releasing on the market in that time frame, as one should also expect it to launch Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 handset, Omio states. The phone should keep the Bravo moniker with T-Mobile, being expected to run under the Android 2.1 platform and to sport a great resemblance with the recently launched Nexus One.

Most of you might know already that the HTC Bravo was said at a certain point to be one and the same Nexus One that is now available for purchase via Google's web store. However, it seems that there are some differences between the two phones that users will spot, including the presence of HTC's Sense UI and an optical joystick on Bravo. Other specifications on the device include a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, coupled with a 5-megapixel photo snapper with flash and video recording capabilities (720p), and 512 MB of ROM and 256 MB of RAM.

Moreover, the HTC Bravo should come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, with FM Radio capabilities, DivX support, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, g-sensor, proximity sensor, a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space (16GB microSD card included?), and a 1400mHa battery. That 1GHz Snapdragon processor is not mentioned, but previous reports on the handset showed that it will be there. It still remains to be seen when the phone is officially announced but, considering the way things look at the moment, we can expect for quite nice Android devices to land in the UK soon along with Bravo, including that LG GW620 (InTouch Max) and the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10.
