The next Android-based mobile phone from Taiwan-based mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is expected to arrive on the market as the HTC Desire HD, the latest rumors on the matter point out. As the name suggests, it should be a high-end device, the same as the already available HTC Desire is, with hardware specifications resembling a lot with the HTC EVO 4G. Moreover, it seems that the specs list is so similar with that of EVO 4G that the HTC Desire HD would be none other than that previously rumored HTC Ace.

In case there are some who might have missed out previous post on the matter, we should note that the HTC Ace was said to be the European version of HTC EVO 4G. Basically, that would mean that the 4G connectivity options would be removed from the equation, and that users would enjoy the handset's fast processor, its high-quality camera, and more. Since Ace is said to be headed for the market as the HTC Desire HD, one should expect for all of these capabilities to be included in this device.

The rumored specifications list of HTC Desire HD includes a 4.3-inch touchscreen display that boasts a WVGA resolution, and 8-megapixel photo snapper with HD 720p video recording capabilities, a 1 GHZ Qualcomm processor, 4GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, and a uni-body Aluminum design, something that was present on the HTC Legend.

Moreover, the upcoming mobile phone is expected to come to the market with Google's Android 2.2 operating system on board, something that would enable support for Adobe Flash 10 technology on it. Other features of the upcoming device would include Xvid video playback, SRS surround sound, E-book reader features, automatic face tracking, and more. Although no official info on the matter emerged, it seems that HTC might plan the release of this device for October this year.
