HP iPAQ 210, first announced back in September 2007, has now finally hit the market, bringing an elegant design, a powerful processor and a whole suite of mobile business applications.

HP is one of the first companies in the world to produce PDAs and its experience is clearly visible in iPAQ 210. The new Pocket PC offers a splendid 4 inch transflective color TFT display that sports a 640 x 480 pixel resolution - one of the best screens integrated into a PDA. Measuring 126 x 76 x 16 mm and weighing 193 grams ( maybe a bit too much, but after all it's a Pocket PC ), HP iPAQ 210 runs on Windows Mobile 6 Classic, hence it includes Windows Mobile Office, Windows Mobile Office Outlook, Internet Explorer Mobile, Windows Mobile Device Center, Windows Media Player Mobile and Microsoft ActiveSync.

HP iPAQ 210 has a 624 MHz Marvell PXA310 processor, 256 MB of ROM, 128 MB of RAM and comes with Wi-Fi connectivity for Internet and e-mail access, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, memory expansion slot, mini USB and a 2200 mAh Lithium Ion battery. Other features include Audio Recorder, integrated microphone, two speakers, 3.5 mm 4 pin headphone jack, MSN Messenger, calculator and games.

One of the aspects that might be seen as "uncool" is that iPAQ 210 doesn't have a built-in camera - the producer obviously thought businessmen don't really need photo cameras into their PDAs, which is kind of true. However, many users can't imagine a handset without a camera, so their enthusiasm about HP's new PDA will be a moderate one.

With or without enthusiasm from consumers, HP iPAQ 210 retails for $449 (not that much I guess, considering all the features the device comes with) and can be bought directly from the HP website at this address.
