Whether because it is not selling so well or for some other reason, HP's Touchpad seems to have gone through another price revision, as revealed by the product listing on Woot.

While some tablets are selling well enough for their makers to cut back on netbooks orders, some others aren't performing as well as they might have been expected to.

The HP Touchpad might just be among those less fortunate, or at least this is what repeated price cuts suggest.

After having already gone through a sort of price slide, of $60 or so, the TouchPad is now revealed to have become even cheaper.

Woot, at least, now has it selling for the sum of $379.99, which is about $120 less than what HP previously asked in exchange for it, though, true enough, it is a temporary deal that will only last one day.

Where it was already cheaper than Apple's iPad 2, this puts it even lower, which should at least spark some interest.

It is possible that the uniqueness of the tablet that HP might have seen as an advantage may, in fact, be acting against the product.

Being loaded with the webOS operating system, it does not have the assets of the Android, like access to the Android market and the increasing number of apps there.

The mixed reviews that the initial launch of the slate garnered also did not exactly encourage prospective buyers to take a leap of faith.

Of course, the company did recently roll out a new webOS update, which is said to have made a visible, positive difference.

Unfortunately, the changes were either not great enough or did not have enough time to revive the interest of the industry, as it has not yet been a month since sales began.
