The latest smartphone in the Pre series, the HP Pre 3 has just been tipped for a July 8th release by an UK retailer.

It appears that Palm fans who are living in UK will have the chance to get the Pre 3 in about three weeks from now, as Play.com retailer is already taking pre-orders.

Those who wish to purchase the device will have to pay £349.99 upfront, but will have to wait for the Pre 3, which is due for release on 08 July, according to Play.com.

However, customers should know that the retailer offers free delivery and that the UK delivery usually takes between 3 to 5 days.

The Pre 3 features a thin exterior and touchscreen, which are concealing an email engine, slide-out keyboard, as well as a robust 1230 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The smartphone comes with a 3.58-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

Users will be able to get fast downloads of their personal email and manage inboxes separately or all together, plus it keeps business and personal contacts automatically up to date.

All these are possible thanks to the HP Synergy, which brings all these features together from all the different places they reside online.

The phone is equipped with a single core Qualcomm MSM8655 processor clocked at speeds of up to 1.4GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 205 GPU (graphics processing unit).

It sports an average 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

Although the HP Pre 3 packs 16 GB of internal memory and 512 MB RAM, the device lacks a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
