Do you remember the HP Omni 10 tablet? The company has introduced it back in October, but back then we weren't sure when we might end up seeing the slate arriving to the US.

It turns out a lot of brand vendors believe it to be favorable to launch products just before Christmas. So HP has made available the 10-incher in the American market in an attempt to grab the attention of late shoppers.

Customers can currently purchase the device off the Microsoft Store for $399 / €290. That’s not the only option US customers are given, as Amazon is offering the HP Omni 10 with the same price-tag.

If you choose to go with the second option, you’ll have to wait a while before getting your hands on the product, though, because its current status appears to be “back-ordered.”

Better yet, the same HP slate appears on Office Depot with a price tag of $350 / €254, so you might want to grab it straight from there. The retailer has offered some pretty sweet deals in the past week and this seems to be one of them.

Nevertheless, we can’t help but notice that the HP official store is the last in the bunch to be offering the HP Omni 10, with the device listed as coming in December.

You’re probably curious what the price tag entails, so we’ll refresh your memory by saying the HP Omni has a 10-inch screen with a powerful resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixel density. HP has jumped in the Bay Trail bandwagon here, adding an Intel Atom Z3770 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM to power everything.

The slate also boasts 32GB of internal storage, two cameras (2MP in front and 8MP on the back) micro HDMI, micro USB ports, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Miracast wireless technology. On top of everything, battery is said to last up to 8.5 hours.

All in all, the machine resembles the keyboard-less ASUS Transformer Book T100 (with a slightly better processor), but if you prefer HP as a brand, maybe you should look into this offering.
