Speaking of the latter, HP and Intel have reportedly teamed up to release a new HP slate just in time for the Black Friday shopping frenzy.
The new product is called the Mesquite 7 and, according to an Intel blog, it is part of its line-up of devices that offer “lightning-fast Web browsing and extraordinary battery life.”
The slate features a 7-inch screen, comes packing one of Intel’s “Medfield”-class Atom processors and runs Android OS. It will become available for purchase on Walmart starting November 29 for a meager $89 / €66.
The same Intel blog posts announcing the Mesquite 7 also reveals that the Dell Venue 8 Android tablet is going to be available on Costco for $99 / €73 during the same period.
