HP is awfully busy at the Computex tradeshow in Taiwan, where the PC maker has unleashed a slew of new products, which it hopes will attract the attention of customers around the globe.

Earlier today, we were telling you about the EliteBook 700 business laptop line which takes advantage of AMD’s recently unveiled lineup of Kaveri chips for notebook computers.

But if having the latest laptop chips by AMD doesn't really appeal to you and you prefer the traditional way of doing things, meaning you’d rather stick with Intel, we’re pleased to tell you HP is not neglecting those faithful to the latter chip manufacturer.

So, HP will be rolling out an EliteBook 700 series too, that comes bundled with Intel processors. And compared to their AMD counterparts, they also sport a few other minor differences.

Introducing the first model: the HP EliteBook 720 – the smallest of the lineup and coming with a 12.5-inch display.

As we have seen with the Kaveri lineup, HP will allow customers to opt for a configuration suited to their needs. Therefore, in the display department, the company throws in a choice of HD display and something they are calling “HD Premium.”

We’re not told exactly what this means; yet, it can be speculated that both models will have 1366 x 768 pixel screens and that the Premium will arrive with an IPS display with wider viewing angles.

And if you’re in need of a touchscreen for doing your tasks, HP offers that too.

Moving on to the larger EliteBook 740, which arrives with a 14-inch screen. This device is marketed as being an Ultrabook of sorts with a choice between 1366 x 748 pixel HD, 1600 x 900 pixel HD+ or 1920 x 1080 pixel full HD display.

Being an Ultrabook, we expect the upcoming device to be very sleek, but we’re not given the exact details and specifications on the topic.

For the more demanding users, HP will roll out an HD+ model with touchscreen.

The last of the trio is HP EliteBook 750, which will arrive with either HD, full HD or full HD touch screens. If you’re wondering what your options in terms of internal hardware are, we can’t tell you much on the topic for the time being.

Despite the info drought, we can tell you the HP EliteBook 720, 740 and 750 will boast Intel Core i3/i5 processors and strong security feats like HP Sure Start.

We’re probably going to know more about them as their launch date nears in August.
