A high level of interactivity between students and their teachers has long been the goal of any learning institution, and HP claims that its new suite of products can allow for this, at least to some extent.

HP has just issued a press release in which it gives details on what it calls the HP Digital Learning Suite.

Simply put, the suite is a collection of software and hardware tools that can put teachers and students in a better position to coordinate tasks, besides just enhancing the accessibility of information itself.

One of the items included in the suite is the HP Pocket Whiteboard which “turns almost any classroom surface into an interactive learning space.”

There is also mention of the HP MultiSeat t150 Thin Client, which lets up to 10 students share a single host computer via USB.

Furthermore, one will be able to wirelessly connect to a teacher's notebook or desktop and control the lesson plan while walking around the classroom via HP Digital Sketch.

Basically, HP tried to put together some products that will fit various learning environments and allow one a greater chance of success.

“HP and our partners have a long history of transforming how we educate our youth, from K-12 all the way through higher education,” said Stephen DeWitt, senior vice president and general manager, Personal Systems Group – Americas, HP.

“We are bringing to life a compelling suite of education solutions and connected devices that will better prepare students for whatever environment they’ll face – in school and out.”

The Texas Computer Education Association in Austin, Texas, is where the company will showcase the products, between February 7 and 11.

The aforementioned products, along with HP Presentation Station 1000, HP 20-Notebook Charging Cart and HP 20- and 30-Notebook Managed Charging Carts, will become available form this month through April.
