HP has rolled out a fresh squeeze of tablets, hoping to attract consumers' attention away from devices like the iPad mini.

Enter the HP Slate Pro 8, an 8-inch Android device featuring an HD display with 1,600 x 1,200 resolution. Its 253 pixel-per-inch density sets it higher, performance wise than Apple's shrunken tablet or the Galaxy Note 8.

And that's not all, HP's “professional” offering also packs a Nvidia Tegra 4 processor with 1GB of RAM under the hood. There are two cameras, a rear 8 megapixel one and a front 2.1 megapixel one.

To emphasize the fact that the Slate Pro 8 is designed for more professional use, HP added some useful applications like Kingsoft Office, HP File Manager and HP ePrint.

The next rolled-out tablet is still an Android infused one, but this time it's not actually manufactured by HP. Instead, the company will sell of a re-branded version of Nvidia's recently announced offering, the Tegra Note.

HP has renamed it the Slate 7 Extreme. The device is powered by the same Tegra 4 chip and comes along with a stylus, which lacks digitizer, according to Engadget.

Other features include front-speakers and always-on HDR camera features. It's important to note that the HP Nvidia slate will certainly prove to be gamer friendly due its inner Tegra 4 chip.

Last but not least, we have the HP Omni 10 which turns out to be the company's first Intel Atom Bay Trail tablet.

The Omni boasts a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel density plus 2GB of RAM. Instead of Android, this slate will ship with Windows 8.1 pre-installed.

It will also feature a microSD card slot, micro HDMI and microUSB ports, with the battery said to be offering up to 9 hours of active use.

Price specifications haven't been announced yet, but the tablet is due in November.
