The notebook came in black and white featuring playful color accents

HP launched its Chromebook 11 not so long ago, in October. It came sporting an 11.6-inch IPS display and powered by a Samsung Exynos 5250 dual-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The offer seemed attractive enough, especially since the company added 100GB of Google Drive storage for two years, which would have surely come in handy, since the laptop had a default 16GB of internal storage. The whole machinery was powered by Google Chrome, of course. The Chrome device had been made available for purchase from retails like BestBuy for the affordable price of $279 / €207.

But now it appears that Best Buy is pulling the HP Chromebook 11 off the shelves, says The Verge. Apparently, a memo circulating between store managers instructs them to “stop selling the HP Chromebook 11 effective immediately.”

“Partner with Sales Support to pull the product off the sales from to a secure location in the warehouse.”

It’s also worthy to mention that the HP Chromebook 11 was available for purchase through Google and HP official stores, but the notebook is no longer available with them either. Amazon also halted the sales of the device.
