HP may have already gotten attention through its Intel or AMD-powered systems, but the company seems bent on really leaving its mark this year by lunching as many products as it can, even a line of monitors.

HP has already revealed some products under the Compaq brand, namely a number of desktop PCs set to be showcased during the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Still, the company definitely wants to live up to its name as world's greatest supplier of PCs, meaning that its exhibition has to be especially sizable.

There are only so many desktops and laptops one can put on show, however, so the outfit chose to fill the void, so to speak, by preparing other products as well.

One batch of such devices is the Compaq-branded collection of WLED-backlit displays, the HP Advantage Series business monitor series, plus a 19-inch addition to the Essential Series.

The list is composed of the LE1901wl, LA2006x, LA2206x and LA2306x, each with a screen size of 19 inches, 20 inches, 21.5 inches and 23 inches, respectively.

The LA2206x and LA2306x are, predictably, the most competent, with a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,00)1 and multiple ports.

To be more specific, they boast a D-Sub connector, DVI and DisplayPort inputs and an USB hub, and sell for $245 and $279, respectively.

Meanwhile, the 20-inch LA2006x has a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels while being otherwise identical to the two above. Its price is of $209.

Finally, the Essential Series 19-inch LE1901wl has a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a native resolution of 1,440 x 900 pixels.

Finally, they are TCO certified, EPEAT registered and qualify with the ENERGY STAR power efficiency specification.

“All of the above listed business monitors come equipped with HP Display Assistant Software for custom picture quality, theft deterrence and energy savings enablement.”
