HP may have unveiled a pair of ultraportable mobile computers, but it looks like those two were not the only thin and light laptops that the company prepared, the press release having also exposed a new ProBook.

It appears that the world of ultrathin and ultraportable mobile computers is getting new blood, so to speak.

HP, being the world's top supplier of personal computers, naturally makes a point of always refreshing its portfolio.

Its most recent move was a press release that revealed the existence of several new notebooks, or revisions of old ones.

Two of them belong to the EliteBook series, while a third one bears the name of ProBook 5330m.

Being a ProBook, this machine is intended for business users instead of consumers, although this doesn't mean it didn't incorporate entertainment features anyway.

Speaking of such things, the one asset that stands out most is the Beats Audio technology which “allows listeners to hear music the way the artist intended,” meaning that it enhances quality and clarity.

That said, the hardware of the 13.3-inch device revolves around an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 central processing unit, depending on buyer choice. Additionally, the screen itself is a HD panel (1,366 x 768 pixels).

What's more, in order to ensure some level of cost efficiency, the Intel vPro technology is available as an option, so that one might remotely manage the machine and enhance security, among other things.

Even more, HP threw in the TPM security system and a fingerprint sensor, which protects data against theft and the like.

The HP ProBook 5330m is less expensive than the EliteBook models mentioned above, which go for $1,099 or $1,499 or more.

With a starting price point of $799, the business notebook should be able to gain the favor of at least part of the business user market once it gets listed, if it hasn't already.
