You might need a bit of luck if you are trying to get your hands on one of AMD's latest Radeon 5000-series of GPUs, but the chip maker's board partners continue to roll out new designs based on the latest GPUs. Such is the case with HIS, one of AMD's leading partners for the ATI Radeon family of products. The graphics card maker is planning on updating its portfolio with a new card, based on the Juniper GPU, thus introducing the Radeon HD 5750 iCooler IV model.

Designed specifically for the mid-range segment, the new card will provide users with a choice for a Radeon HD 5750 card, featuring a dual-slot cooler bearing the iCooler IV moniker. The cooling solution adopted by the graphics card maker promises improved performance at noise levels of under 30dBA, at least according to the manufacturer's claims. In addition to that, you will still get the same number of 720 Stream Processors, with support for CrossFireX and ATI Eyefinity technologies.

The card features DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity and will provide users with DirectX 11 compatibility. Aside from the custom cooler, the card comes with the regular clock speeds, namely 700HMz for the GPU and 1GB of GDDR5 memory that has been clocked at 4600MHz. However, with the help of the custom cooler, users should be able to boost the card's performance by increasing clock speeds.

While we still have no details on when the card is going to be made available, it looks like you should be able to pick one for about 140 Euro. With that, you'll be set for an HTPC system that should handle some of the latest or upcoming gaming applications, but should also provide a good support for running multimedia setups, with the ATI Eyefinity technology.
