14 DAY TRIAL // Like a bad case of the flu which you can't seem to shake away after a long winter, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow can't seem to get away from one another, despite the fact that they've “consciously uncoupled” some time ago and let the entire world know that they are no longer together.
Reports from Page Six indicate that the singer and the actress have managed to move to separate homes that are on different sides of the same street in the Hamptons. So far, it is not known if this move is intentional or a very unfortunate coincidence, but either way, it leads to some serious speculation.
That is because Martin and Paltrow have been seen in each other's company several times before, enforcing the rumors that they are getting back together. While we can't put a finger on it just yet, we can confirm that they are basically living across the street from each other for the summer.
Chris was the first to move in when he rented a mansion in Amagansett from Los Angeles Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchack. The mansion is a very big place just off of Old Montauk Highway with plenty of luxurious accommodations and creature comforts.
Meanwhile, actress Gwyneth Paltrow was seen moving just a few blocks away, in a distance easily done by foot. The fact that the two are definitely going to bump into each other is made obvious by the fact that Chris Martin has often been seen jogging in the area.
Another theory is that Paltrow and Martin are still close because of their children, Apple, 10 and Moses, 8, whom they still plan on raising together. Then it would make sense to rent different homes in the same neighborhood because that way they can see each other but they don't have to live together.
The press have been eager to pair both Martin and Paltrow with different partners as it was rumored that they had both been cheating on each other, but so far neither of them has shown a stable fling. In fact, most of the time they seem to be close to each other, reinforcing speculations that they're looking for a reconciliation.
The actor and the singer have been spotted together with their children dining at Bay Kitchen Bar in East Hampton and then shopping for skateboards or going out for pizza in the same neighborhood.
