14 DAY TRIAL // Gwyneth Paltrow and Pink (credited as Alecia Moore) can be seen together in the feature film “Thanks for Sharing,” which came out in the US earlier this month. Though this was Pink’s first big role, she reportedly got better reviews than Gwyneth, for which reason she’s been moved permanently to her blacklist.
At least, that’s what the National Enquirer claims happened. A word of advice about how this report should be taken with a grain of salt is needed.
According to inside sources, Pink and Gwyneth got along just fabulously on the movie set; in fact, they bonded so well that they believed they would be BFFs for life – until Gwyneth’s jealousy ruined everything.
“Pink had no illusions about being an actress when she showed up on the first day of shooting. She knew she was working with seasoned pros and even joked that she just didn’t want to get in their way,” the tipster shares.
She and Gwyneth bonded and even kept in touch after the movie wrapped. However, the report argues, Paltrow started dodging Pink’s calls when she found out that critics were raving about the latter’s performance in the film, and not hers.
Out of spite and jealousy, she began shading Pink publicly too, if we’re to believe another insider.
“It was obvious Gwyneth was jealous. She started telling people, ‘Why would I ever want to work with that dirty girl again? She’s so unpleasant and unkempt, I don’t even like being around her’,” the spy explains.
As the saying goes, two can play that game: when Pink learned what Gwyneth had been saying about her behind her back, she decided to have the best possible revenge by going the “Taylor Swift route.”
“She’s going to write a song about a phony friend with two faces. And she’s using Gwyneth for inspiration,” the tipster claims.
